Diane lost her Sitka today Sitty was the daughter of our Babs, and a gorgeous stud dog called Turbo. She had injured her spine, and severe and very aggressive arthritis caused her to become paralyzed in the rear, and lead to her early loss. The email Diane sent says it all.
Our Silly Sitka passed away today. She was a wonderful girl. Practically Perfect in every way. She left us too soon, at the young age of 6 years old. She was so proud and left us with her pride and dignity very peacefully. That much I could do for her since she gave me so much more over the years. I am forever blessed for having had the privilege of sharing her life with her and we will all miss her terribly and forever but be better for having known her.
Morgan Freeman said it perfectly in the Shawshank Redemption--" I miss my friend" I do and will forever, but know she is in a wonderful place with her family Mouse and Stella.
What a beautiful dog! So sad she had to leave this life so early. May her family find peace that she is no longer in pain and that so many people feel her pain for losing such an important family member. Ellen

Diane, I so feel for you. I just lost my 10 year old Akita female to a very similar situation. She will always be close to your heart. All the best....David
