I always look forward to spring, but this is the worst time of year for pollen allergies. Swollen eyes, headaches, stuffy nose - I hate it! The past few days have been dry and windy and its been absolutely miserable. There is a fine yellow film of pollen all over my black van - yuck, we are breathing that stuff in! No wonder there's a lot of sneezing going on
Sunday I had a great Mother's Day, with calls from Bryan and Michelle, and Andy came by with a really cute plant. I think it may be some kind of fancy miniature marigold, based on what the leaves look like - I'm going to have to look online and see if I can figure out what it is. I'll plant it outside sometime this week - maybe after a rain shower tomorrow that should settle the pollen down a bit! Here's a quick photo - anyone have any ideas?

I woke up at 2 am Monday morning with terrible stomach pains, and got violently ill - I was up most of the rest of the night with it, and it continued through the morning. I don't know if something I ate was bad, or if it was a stomach virus, but it was awful! I was pretty much either passed out on the couch or in the bathroom all day and all evening. Woke up yesterday, and felt pretty good. I was very careful about what I ate all day yesterday, and whatever it was seems to have passed - I wouldn't look forward to going through that again!
Besides that, not a lot going on. I've been doing some spring cleaning and throwing out a lot of "stuff." I figure if I haven't needed something in the past six months, I'm not going to need it. That doesn't include my books, though!

And yes, I have been playing WoW - my warrior toon is at level 61 now, and my paladin just hit 20. It's a lot more fun once the levels are above 20, when you aren't being killed all the time!
Pollen is just starting here - but in two weeks it will be a full yellow layer smear
everywhere! UGLY!
I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Have a great weekend!
